ARTIST STATEMENT

Melodie Rose Studio, based in Bellingham, Washington, specializes in fine art, mixed media, and acrylic on canvas.

 

I love painting.  I have been creating art in some way my entire life in many forms. I believe art is an expression of our human experience and I am in love with how art can transform a space and provide emotion and energy to any environment. I explore themes of nature, love, spirituality, and life's interconnectedness by playing with color, movement, and texture. I make art that makes me happy and I hope inspires others as well.
